Been meaning to post for a few days. I went to a competition for an anniversary of a club here in NH. IMG_1960.JPG
Lots of fun, met new people with the same interest as I do. During the open hunt (only hunt I did), I mostly found junk, but on one area got a nice dime signal. Strangely enough, it was on the surface. It looked weird at first but then I knew I had silver in my hand. Two to be exact. 1939 & 1942 mercury dimes. IMG_1961.JPG IMG_1962.JPG I later found out the staff planted some silver coins before hand.
Before raffles started, the staff said someone found a 1883 indian head penny that was not planted!:BangHead: Had fun either way!!

Congrats! Sweet silver for sure, and you had fun!
One of these days I want to go to one but I have time and family constraints right now.
