Complete colonial buckle and anniversary silver..

[johnnyblaze]

Took a walk into the woods today..It was so humid after a half hour or so i was soaked..
I said to myself,John what the heck are you doing out here...
I ventured near a opening in the stone wall and got a solid signal

My first buckle of this type with one prong on it..Anyone know the date?Is it a knee buckle

I was stoked to see it..More additions to my colonial cake

Hunted around for about another hour and pulled this 1911 barber quarter

100 year anniversary coin

Just think my fellow hunters the killer months for detecting are right around the corner..

Great fat cast buckle & nice Silver !
Those openings in the walls always deserve a double scan,
they were often gated, giving lots of opportunity for things to be lost when opening & closing them.
