COMPLETE COLONIAL SHOE BUCKLE & A CLIPPED KG II

got out for a bit today.dug alot of iron but managed 2 keepers.my 2nd complete shoe buckle and a clipped KGII it looks like.
always wondered what the brass discs were that ring out so nice.finally got one attached to something.

The brass cap is the hasp at the end of the wood handle to your tool . Nice finds

thanks for the ID but why does the iron piece look more like some kinda reign guide?

I don't know but it could be the end of a single tree also.

Your tool may have been a scorp used in bowl making to scoop out the bowl.
