Went to a new permission today at a 1855 home. Found my first Conestoga bell. It's 2.5" tall by 3" wide. Also found a nice suspender clip with ring attached. Three lantern parts. One is dated 1865 on the wick advance dial.

I love conasoga bells! My first good find with a metal detector was one. It is also my first post on this site!

The item in the center on the far right is a horse harness buckle cover.
