Nice coin! Got some nice detail! Well done, congrats and HH

Beautiful copper
Congrats

Nice recovery on the copper, congrats.

I live in Connecticut and would enjoy finding some of these coppers.

I think one of my ancestors dropped that - no wait, they never had a pot to... so it couldn't have been them!

Beautiful old copper coin! :occasion14:

Nice old coin. Looks better than what they would look like from Maryland soil.

That coin is beauty... what a day at that site.... 3 connecticut coppers found, one by each detectorist... yours was the best by far... mine is a toaster. Congrats, I'm not jealous at all.

Sounds like you had a really great hunt! That Ct copper is in wonderful shape. Mine always seem to come out of the ground practically unidentifiable.

Thanks for the kind words....it was a great hunt for sure...6 coppers 3 were Connecticut...2 were King George 2...1 was King George 3...the Connecticut coppers were the newest coins found...plenty of tombac buttons...fun for sure...If anyone knows what variety this is feel free to let me know...I looked but can't figure out the obverse...Thanks for looking

Think I got it...MILLER 33.8-Z.13. Rarity:5 Rare
