Constant Beep Beep Beeping! Mineralization? Frequncy Pollution? Alien Transmission?

Hmmm,

besides the above, which are all true, any large electromagnetic device can wreak havoc on my XP deus.

Worst are electric or dieselelectric locomotives (even if not in line of sight!), second (not always and funny enough fairly independent from the fact how fast they are going) wind turbines.

Detecting near a hydoelectric dam alos produced chatter, though I always said to myself thats more than half a mile away MUST be someting else.

You got some good advice here. I’ll add that gravel under the grass/topsoil layer has always been a sign of regraded/recent fill for me. I would not waste much time in that soil. Look for the pure dirt, best chance of finding some old stuff. Good luck!

I personally think that your setting of Recovery Speed (Reactivity)/1 is a bit ambitious. Adding too fast of a coil swing speed & is causing "stretching" or "smearing"....hence the constant beeping. etc.

Here's a link to am excellent post by Steve Herschbach

I think this article will support a more realistic setting of 2 or 3 for your Recovery Speed. Good Luck & Happy Hunting!
