Construction Site Finds

Been hunting a construction site the last few days in Savannah where both colonial and civil war stuff has been dug. The site has been pounded, but will be like a new site once more dirt has been moved. Was able to save a few interesting things with my XP Deus HF round coil.

The dirt at this site is rough on coins. The 2 flying eagles that I dug a few weeks ago were totally encrusted in iron. This IHP also had iron crust stuck to it, some of which I left for fear of more damage to the coin.

I moved a few months ago to coastal Georgia and am using an XP DEUS like yourself.

Unlike yourself however, I am a complete novice (read hack) and know just enough to be dangerous.

Could you recommend any metal detecting clubs or groups between Savannah and Brunswick?
