I just saw an ugly counterfeit Kennedy 1/2 posted and thought it might be fun to see if there are other ugly coins out there. I will search around for one myself and see what I can contribute ...THANKS!

Heres one I found yesterday... I am fairly certain that its a memorial cent. Not sure if its a Zincoln or not though. It was just below the full water level of a local lake which is down about 15ft at the moment. The best find was either a clad dime or pull tab with a blue star on it.

I like the 1943's, so I won't call it a Stincoln. But I might never have been able to ID this one if it hadn't accidentally slipped under a magnet:

Here's a couple of my ugliest (but bucket lister!) coins. I have tons of nasty looking beach coins, but, people may be eating, so, I'll refrain from causing nausea! These are "S" mint Peace dollars that I suppose were in a fire at some time. With my luck they're probably 1934's, but, the obverse is too far gone to tell the date(s).

Here is one that could certainly be called an ugly. The kind that makes you think to yourself "Cool, I just dug a Walking Liberty half dollar.....dang that is ugly!" Why someone would destroy a perfectly good half dollar is anybody's guess.

Been in hobby for over 40 yrs - so got a bunch - i hit mostly salt water now and its not kind to coins
here is a silver half - too cool to clean

here is a saltwater large cent - it was trapped in a depression so it has been moving back and forth in sand for a long time
you can shave with it

farmfield half dime almost cut in half

tons of zinc lincolns got coins that were fires etc.

Yeah, I've gotten lots of coins attached to rocks and shells. This is one of my favorites attached to a fishing weight. It made one heck of a signal! I just had to clean it a little to see what coin it was. 1945 Washington quarter. I decided I liked it better keeping it on the sinker.
