Its definitely there, you just have to use a little imagination. Great finds! You guys have it so good to be able to hunt colonial sites where you drive right up to the site and its manicured grass. I have to hike a couple of miles and fight snakes, ticks, and poison ivy and then hope i find something.

nice find. Welcome to the USA button club! Thought that tombac button was something silver. I remember finding my first tombac button - would have bet money it was silver...until the silver test kit stated otherwise.
