I have been getting this repeated pop up asking in I want TreasureNet to push notifications.
Click on voice is deny/accept.
Click deny
If I deny 6X do you think that it might get the message?

What browser are you using?

Here's some info I found on the web, regarding specifically the Mac OS and the Safari browser:

If a website continues to ask for permission to send notifications despite clicking deny, you may need to remove the website from your Safari notification settings. Go to Safari > Preferences > Websites > Notifications, and manually remove the website from the list.

Understanding Notification Requests in Safari

When using Safari on a Mac, you may encounter persistent requests from websites asking for permission to send notifications, even after you have denied them. This can be frustrating, and it often stems from how Safari handles notification settings.

Why Websites Still Ask for Notifications

  • Permission Granted Previously: If you have previously allowed a website to send notifications, it may continue to prompt you, regardless of your current settings.
  • Browser Behavior: Some websites are designed to ask for notifications repeatedly, especially if they believe you might change your mind.

How to Manage Notification Settings

To effectively stop these requests, follow these steps:

  1. Open Safari Preferences:
    • Launch Safari.
    • Click on "Safari" in the menu bar and select "Preferences."
  2. Adjust Notification Settings:
    • Go to the "Websites" tab.
    • Select "Notifications" from the left sidebar.
    • Here, you will see a list of websites that have requested permission.
  3. Remove or Deny Permissions:
    • For each website listed, you can select "Deny" from the dropdown menu.
    • If you want to remove a website entirely, click on the website name and then select "Remove."
  4. Prevent Future Requests:
    • At the bottom of the Notifications settings, uncheck the option that says "Allow websites to ask for permission to send notifications." This will stop websites from prompting you in the future.

Additional Tips

  • Clear Browser Data: If issues persist, consider clearing your browser history and cache, as this can sometimes resolve notification problems.
  • Check for Updates: Ensure that your Safari and macOS are up to date, as updates may fix bugs related to notifications.
By following these steps, you should be able to manage and reduce unwanted notification requests effectively.

I don't think the notification question is a browser popup. It's triggered by the browser but it's an OS dialog.

When you're in Safari, pull down the top menu under "Safari" and open Settings. Then click Websites. Then on the left side, click Notifications. You should get a window like this:

Then just click www.treasurenet.com to highlight it, and the "Remove" button should enable itself. Click it to remove the website, close the settings window, and reload Treasurenet. Hopefully it will ask again about notifications and when you say "deny" it will listen the first time.

If that doesn't get it, it's above my pay grade. :icon_thumleft:

Use Mr Duck go and kiss annoying things goodbye. YouTube...no adds, push things get warned and flick em away, adds and pop ups rare unless you stray. Targeted stuff, don't exist my end. Hassle free browsing and everything. Even get a Duck email that stays protected, no from out of nowhere email adds unless from a site you purchased from. It filters them at Duck end and sends relevant stuff through to my Gmail. Only get stuff if I use my old Gmail address.
