I found this today at a Civil war site near my home. It's a revet with some leather still stuck in it. I also found two civil war tent pegs. I will post them as soon as I get them cleaned up.

I found this in Tennessee. I've been metal detecting for 15 years. I've found my share of Civil War bullets, but I don't know what this is. It has a greenish color like the patina on brass. Any suggestions about what this is..?
