Had to work today from 9 - 2. Afterwards I thought I will do a little metal detecting. So I hit a local Elementary School playground close to work to see what's what. It was a gold mine of Quarters, one right after the other. Usually playgrounds I find pennies or dimes, sometimes a nickel, but today was Quarter day extraordinaire! All in all a quick afternoon hunt merits 26 Coins! P.S. Nearly 600 Coins found and no silver yet. The search continues....

Damn, 600 coins, and not one silver!? That means when you find your first it's going to be a big one.

I warn you, silver is a sneaky mistress, she will show when you least expect it.
That said, nice hunt!

I need to hook up with that Mistress soon! LOL!

My son got his first with a bounty hunter tracker4 on the edge of the grass / parking lot at a well hunted park.
ya just never know.
it was a 44 merc.

Keep at it, silver will show its face eventually

Early on I remember someones signature said, "if it's not where your looking, look somewhere else"
So I kept looking. Good job, one of these days one of those quarters is going to be silver, keep digging!

I used to find a lot of nickels on the route home from an elementary school. I found that the cafeteria charged 20 cents for lunch. The change from a quarter was lost on the way home from school.

Careful what you wish for because if you think your hooked now.. Just wait till the silver pops out! mwahaha :laughing7:

So do I :)
