So, which is the true Adam.....Allosome with the allelic variation or the Y chromosomal version? Would the real Adam please stand up?!

If I'm interpreting this properly, the South American natives would be significantly (measurably) older than those of the northern region of North America? Some carbon dated sites in the North East date native occupation to 12,000 years ago (Clovis) so, I would think that the South American sites would yield carbon dates much older. If that's the case, wouldn't Clovis be older than 12,000 years? I've heard arguments in regard to Pre Clovis culture...just wondering if the DNA supports the argument?

Another issue to ponder....if the native populations moved south and east then north as the glaciers retreated, it would make sense to me that the Cumberland culture would predate Clovis by however many years it took the retreat to happen.

The flip side of this causes me to ask, have Clovis artifacts been found in context with carbon dating suggesting their occupation (for arguments sake) at 8,000 years ago? I would assume that if this has happened, it would be written off as "a later culture found the artifact and reused/reworked it. Would such a scenario even make news or be published? Afterall, we want Clovis to be in that 10 to 12,000 year old range...just thinking out loud while trying to learn, that's all.
