Cool finds today

I was dumping several rolls of halves today and found a silver bicentennial quarter in the reject chute - my first in the wild. The machine broke down and when the teller fixed it this beat up Buff came down the reject chute - another first in the wild for me. The date is faint but is 1935.

Very precious few 40% quarters have been posted during my time on this forum. In fact, that may be the only one I've seen.

Man, that would seriously make my week CRHing wise. Hell, probably my month! I'm on a 16,640 nickel buffalo skunk streak right now, and finding such a rare (in the wild) quarter is awesome!

That quarter is probably a 1 in 10,000,000 find, maybe more. truly a rarity in circulation. The buffalo is a 1 in 2,500 find. Amazing.

Yeh, I have read a lot of pages of CRH, but I can't recall a silver bicentienial quarter being reported. great find!
