Copper - 1700's

This years I decided to get away from local parks and start more challenging areas. I found an area where I found something strange- there is a 100 year gap in my finds....
I found another Connecticut copper and in this area I also found 2 King George's from the 1720's--- and a Barber Dime ... nothing in between -- no Indian Head Pennies or other items... I have searched this area for many hours ..::
just seems weird

Nice digs JSS, I can't explain the gap, as I've experienced the same exact thing at my go-to soccer field...15 acres, there was a house on the property late 1800's and apparently no fill added. I've dug over $225 in clad over 2 years, a no-date LC, a 1943 Walker Half and a 192? Standing Liberty quarter. Get this-not ONE silver dime, and even weirder-NO wheat cents! Hmmm...Ddf

Are you finding anything else? There's nothing weird about it. You're simply finding random drops from two different periods in time.
