I found these a while back and I have no clue what they are. A friend told me they were colonial dutch coins but they are dated in the mid to late 1700s and if Im not mistaken the dutch left NY in 1663. If anyone knows what they are or where they come from I sure would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance

Chris

Dutch East Indies coins (VOC); maybe a 'duit'.
The Duit, a copper coin issued by the Dutch East India Company, was one such coin frequently used in circulation as a cent, earning it the title of “New York’s First Cent.” The Dutch negotiated with the Shinnecock Indians to buy the entire island of Manhattan for the equivalent of a bag of 9,600 Duits! Dated 1720-1799.
