Whats the size? Could be a bracelet.

To be honest I think it is something that would be more like an earring, one end is more pointed than the other and It looks like the shape is almost the same as when it was lost. It is about 2 1/4 inches across. Hope that is some help in deciding what it is. :dontknow: :help:

It could be an ear/nose ring, but you don't see very many everyday body items made from copper because our body corrodes it easily and that turns the skin green (or worse if you are allergic to it.) My wife got a cheap pair of "silver" ear rings in Mexico a few years back and got a nasty infection/reaction after wearing them a few days, they were just silver plated copper.

There were some copper earspools and beads, but they appear to have been mostly burial/ceremonial items vs everyday use items.

I'd still go with a bent awl/needle or a copper hook.

Im going with child's bracelet. Seen some very similar before.

now that i see the size i tend to agree on the last few comments over my thoughts
i thought it was smaller when i looked at the first image
the sizing of images is a tough thing for myself and i am sure many other people struggle with this issue as well
