We continued the hunt for more roman coins but only got 15 in 4 hours (8 man hours). Sometimes, finding not many is a good thing, as we now know the limits of the site. Anyway in an area which had nothing, Dad came up smelling of roses. He got our second Celtic Silver Unit for this year.
Its not in Van Arsdell book which immediately tells you its rare. Some describe it as Extremely Rare, but in reality it's Very Rare
Dias - 15BC-10AD 'Saltire' Silver Unit - pretty valuable in this condition.
