Has anyone checked out NETR Online • Historic Aerials? Being couped up in this weather, I'm doing my research to find some places to dig once it warms up a bit.

I looked at this service, but here in Wyoming, Google maps is just as good.

Are you able to cross reference it with older maps?

historic aerial is great! google maps doesn't go back but so far. historic aerials will go back as far as pictures go and then to topo maps back to 1700's. I found long gone homes/farms around me using that. another great feature is you can split the screen that you can slide back and forth comparing one side current day (or any year available) to an older year available. click and drag the sidebar back and forth. great resource!
