Coupla Merc's
Went to a town park that has been around for quite some time. Has a tot-lot, baseball field, soccor field, and a beach at the end. Started at the beach and the first coin i dug was the 1942 Merc!!!! [cool] Kept on swing on the beach finding clad and scrap medal. Made it to the end and started back alittle further from the waters edge and found bunch more clad. Then as i got close to finishing the beach all together found the other Merc 1917 sticking half way out of the ground!!!!! [cool] After that one i scoured the beach for hours but no more silver. Then I decided to hit the fields. 9/10 targets wound up being old beer cans about 7 inches down!! [banghead] Found the Piels token and the army gun there. Gave up after 100 beer cans and a blistered palm from my digger. Funny thing was i didn't even find one wheat penny. 2 Mercs and $3.68 in clad. [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
