Hello all,

Scouted a new place last week that’s apartments which are older and in a nice part of town. I’ve just been hunting curb strips there and only roughly 20ft so far that I’m trying to clean out completely, maybe several hundred feet remain. Hunt last week produced 3 wheats, a 1926 and 2x 1941. Also, a plated silver earring that was an eyeball find and a broach that I think is gold filled but not marked, it has blue glass stones and between each is an empty post, I think maybe there were pearls between.

Short hunt today was in the exact same small strip as last week but the car that was there was gone. I had already dug some clad and 2 keys but right next to the curb got a screaming 12-46. Was only 2 inches deep and I definitely wasn’t expecting a nice looking 1953 Benjamin Franklin half dollar!! It has a D mintmark. I called it quits after that but will definitely be back!

Dang it, my pictures always load sideways from my phone

Very nice! Those Franklin halves are elusive digs!

Very nice looking Franklin. If you have an I phone, try taking the pictures with your phone sideways, instead of up and down, and they should load the right way on the site. I had to figure that one out also.

Nice finds. Beautiful silver. Congrats

Love those finds and especially that Franklin half!!!
