Well, the 50+ weather in upstate New York melted the snow and ground enough for me to finally get out for a few hours today. Went to the old park, previously known as "hunted out". Tried the coins and jewelry program for the first time. First time hunting in a new year warranted me trying something new. Found a whopping 7 cents. First signal was a 1952 Canadian cent. Next was a Buffalo nickle with no date. Third was a 1951 D wheat cent. Dang thing was 7 inches down. Thought for sure it was going to be an Indian head. After that it was two hours of junk. Then the temperture changed and its was sleeting, and now snowing like crazy, but I'll take 7 cents metal detecting in January over almost anything.

At least you got to go out. I was at work looking out my window on Thurs and Fri. It was 63 degrees but I couldn't get home before dark. :'( :'(

Oh well, Keep digging, DF.
