CRH Totals/Stats - Excel Chart Ideas

Hey all, BuffaloBoy inspired me to this year set up an Excel chart to keep track of my CRH totals. Does anybody have any ideas for interesting stats that I might set up? I will primarily be searching halves. Here's what I have so far:

Box totals: 90%, 40%, then split up by Kennedy, Franklin, Walker, and Barber. There is a total silver-in-box line as well.

Stats: Overall total 90%, 40%, Kennedy, Franklin, Walker and Barber, number of boxes, and $ searched. I also have total silvers, silver ounces, 90%/40% ratio, and silver-per-box average.

Everything is set up to update and total automatically once I enter the box totals. Are there any other stats that you track or that you think I should keep? Maybe even dump stats?

All of my supply comes from the same bank/supplier so I guess that wouldn't be necessary unless I expanded. I added a section for my dump banks:

Lines for each dump I make, the bank it's at, and the amount. Then I have a total section listing the number of dumps and total amount dumped at each bank, my total dump amount, and how much I'm +/- on orders vs. dumps. I'll know exactly how much I have out and if/when I'm shorted.

I am very interested in what suggestions people have for the spreadsheets... I am not good with this stuff, but its good to learn. If anyone has a template they'd like to share, I would truly appreciate it.

I include cwr rolls, teller tray, and coinstar totals in my spreadsheet. I Also have a formula set up that tracks the face value in keepers so I know my running "expense" total.

I indict the source of coins, from box or loose or CWR;
Formulas to calculate how many boxes searched, silver coin per box; Annual sum, etc.
The date, use red color to indict special coins, silver proof, 70D, commemorative, etc. Barber half was included into Walker section.

I add a note section, put misc. info there.

Sounds similar to mine... I only have a walker, ben, 1964 and 40% category, but on a column all the way to the right, there is a "note" section where I would note any special coins/dates... if I ever found a barber, it goes into the walker category and I take note of that... or if I ever find a 90% silver proof, I would also include it in the walker section. I just cannot figure out how to get an oz/per box equation yet, though I have not looked into it much. I have a YTD silver total in oz though.

Oz per box... interesting. Here's how I would do it:

If you wanted to do total oz in each box, =(A1*0.3617)+(A2*0.1479) where A1 is total 90% for the box and A2 is total 40%. The decimals are just the silver content of each coin.

If you wanted to do average oz per box, =((B1*0.3617)+(B2*0.1479))/B3 where B1 is total 90% for all boxes, B2 is total 40% for all boxes, and B3 is total number of boxes. But you said you already have a YTD silver total in oz, so you could just do that cell divided by total number of boxes.

I think I will add sections for loose, CWR, reject chute finds, and notes. Good idea!

I have a "goals" column for each type of coin next to stats column to compare my goals and actual finds, which includes total ounces for the year. The goals are red at the beginning of the year and change to green when I reach them.

I also have a skunk stat that keeps track of total number of skunks & skunk %. I keep track of which banks my boxes come from and how well they produce in 40s/90s/skunks.

I have a sheet that ranks my best boxes with total # silvers/ounces of silver.

I have a sheet for dump banks (more of just a list). It's separated by bank and has a column for address & location in the city (NW, W, E, S, etc). I have used over 85 bank branches to dump coins. Each time I dump coins a put an entry in the date column so I don't dump too often at the same place.

I have a pickup bank spreadsheet that lists all the branches in the city of banks I like to try to go to for CWRs. It's set up by area, so if I'm gonna be on the south side of town, I call ahead and find out if any of the banks in that area have halves, etc. I can print it too easily & take it with me.
