If we had steak every night we'd stop enjoying it.....so better to eat frugal at times so when we have something a bit more fancy we appreciate it more.

Tomorrow night we're having home made mac and cheese.....probably with some veggies or other on the side nothing all that elaborate but that's fine.

An Ovation or an Epiphone, My love of guitars is surely known.

Tomorrow, if I should wake, and I should reach for my guitar,
I'll play a tune to encourage myself to be the Best that I can be!

And then, the rest of my day will be easy!
No one shoots at me and I don't have to shoot at them....

It's not just about listening to music,

Spoke with my Landlord tonight and he asked why I haven't been camping in months.

I had no answer except that I felt I hadn't deserved the pleasure.

He said, "GO! Enjoy yourself!"

Sometimes others may tell you what you need to hear....

So.....
This coming weekend....
Yeah. The blackberries will be ripe and bears will be around....
A fight? We'll see....

Think I'll go!
New paths and familiar ones to explore!
Wonder if he wants to come along?
After all,
Someone has to gather the firewood....

So, let's talk about fishin'....

Here's a story that's allowed.....

When I was a kid, I saw my Dad getting ready to go fishing. He would give me a jar to collect grasshoppers in the field behind our house. I'd collect a jar full of grasshoppers and find that he had already left to go fishing. I was left with a jar of grasshoppers that I eventually turned loose. I tried not to cry....

Years later,
Pop was an inmate at the local jail.

Something about drunk in public.

I petitioned the Judge to release him in my custody.
"Work Release."
I had my own business at that time.

Yeah.
"WORK" release.


I was successful.

I always took him fishing and made sure that he had a fine meal before he was returned to the jail.

He loved my Guitar playing and would try to sing along.

while I played loud guitar.....

Seems we were always at odds though. He drank, I smoked.

I tried to convert him, but had no success.

My Dad was quite a fisherman...

When he died,
He was donated to Kansas University Medical Center for study.

He was then cremated and I have his ashes still today.

One day, both our ashes will be spread.

In my mountains that I love.....
