Songs of my youth.

I remember the first time that I played live on stage....

I was nervous...as you might imagine....

I spent the time beforehand shooting pool in the bar.
And drinking beer.

Then,
BOOM!

I'm on stage playing lead guitar!
When I had an electric 12 string Ovation.

A founding member of the band called, "From The Street."

The set went well...A couple of tunes and we played an original written by me called, "Try to See it."
Kinda heavy on the lead....

Ah! Yesterday!

Still play that song as I warm up....
Even on my 6 string....

We also booked time in a recording studio....

I lost the masters due to, well, you know.....

I have so many tapes that it is possible that I may still have a tape of me playing.....:dontknow:

Seems like I've got practice tapes around here somewhere....

Umm.... what if you knew someone that got in trouble ...spent some time in the "slammer"
Would your feelings towards said individual be influenced?
 

Cops? drugs? Here's a song with those! I think it's about corruption or something, but I remember seeing the cop scene in the beginning. :laughing7:

This summer is the first summer in a long time that I've been camping. I've spent about 4 weeks total in the woods so far. I've had more fun than I've had in years!

Ticks!! I hate the ticks though! I can deal with the heat(most times) but the ticks? They just.....bug me! Especially seed ticks!!!!! :laughing7:

And I have to try to stop my 2 year old from drinking out of mud puddles! Every time I turn around he's eating a rock,dirt,stick,leaf, or anything! or trying to drink out of a mud puddle! I think he thinks he's part dog or something! :laughing7:

Scott he doesn't like sushi, but I make up for that. Last night was insane...... I couldn't sleep ( what's new?) at 0250 my wife busts out of the bedroom and I'm watching tv, she says "an animal is dying outside our window " HUH???? I grabbed my flashlight went outback, 11 y/o grabbed my arm " I don't want you out there poppa" and about an hour later I saw it, screaming in the tree....... a darn bobcat!!!!!!! Oh yes I gave it space and finally dozed off....... hehe! Have you ever heard a bobcat scream? SCARY...... for an 11 y/o. Haha
