Folks,

Been awhile since the gourmet types posted up any food related stuff....so here goes....

Supper tonight is some pasta with home made sauce with a bit of tuna added for some protein.

Instead of you're run of the mill side salad decided on some a bit more south of France style.

Peeled a couple of oranges and sliced thin and marinaded in a shot of pernod for 30 minutes or so.

Sliced up an avocado and spread around on the plate with the orange slices and some black olives.

Added a simple dressing of olive oil and bit of lime juice salt, pepper and a dash of tobasco.

It kind of gives you a taste of summer on a cold autumn evening.

Fastest land animal- Cheetah

Slowest land animal- Tortoise

So then, what can nature teach us here.

I don't know anyone who has been run down and killed by a Tortoise (whom only eats veggies)

I'm just saying….

It takes my tortoise about 5 minutes to cross the yard for health food.





Now Bill- what do Cheetahs eat?

Don,t know the Mrs. but bet she has her hands full.(Umm hmm.) Don,t ignore the kids approach to life being a big science experiment, whats tangible is real,and must be touched ,tasted,and tested to be proven.Alas,tis true.

When it comes to food I'll try pretty much anything at least once....I figure life and food should be treated pretty much like a big buffet table....try something new if you like it go back for seconds....if not move on to the next item on the menu.
