Thanks Scott. It's actually the "US Army Spec Ops Diver Badge. It is the new one redesign from the old scuba bubble badge maybe 5 years ago?

Having no real "Family,"
This framed description of my Service will likely pass to my sister.

Who cares not.
{She get's checks every month from the Gov't.}

Then it may pass to her daughter, my neice.
Who knows nothing of me.

From there, it will pass onto the obscurity...
Of every red-blooded American youth who thought that volunteering to serve to "Protect and Defend the Constitution" actually meant something.....

I still believe,
And I hope that my framed record of my volunteerism is never forgotten....

Still believing in the America that I was promised while I was growing up, I offer....

Perhaps a late night "story" for your amusement.....

Once, while hiking in my mountains on a trail,
I heard a twig snap behind me.
I turned to look and saw a 450 pound Mama bear behind me.

Well, I naturally "picked up the pace" and glancing over my shoulder saw that Mama was gaining on me.
About then I decided to drop my ruck and save my a$$.
I shed my ruck and tore into a full sprint.
Looking over my shoulder, Mama, wanted a piece of me.
I looked ahead on the trail I was running and saw a branch ahead, maybe 20 feet off the ground.
I leapt to the branch, just as mama took a swipe at my britches,
And,

I missed the branch!

But!

Don't you worry 'bout ole Scott, no sir!

.... Mama missed my trousers,
But I didn't miss the branch on the way down from my jump.....
