Today's Joke - Fri, 05 Sep 2014

THE PERKS OF BEING OVER 60
1) Kidnappers are not very interested in you.
2) In a hostage situation you are likely to be released first.
3) No one expects you to run -- anywhere.
4) People call at 9 PM and ask, "Did I wake you?"
5) People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.
6) There is nothing left to learn the hard way.
7) Things you buy now won't wear out.
8) You can eat dinner at 4 P.M.
9) You can live without sex but not without your glasses.
10) You enjoy hearing about other peoples operations.
11) You get into heated arguments about pension plans.
12) You no longer think of speed limits as a challenge.
13) You quit trying to hold your stomach in, no matter who walks into the room.
14) You sing along with elevator music.
15) Your eyes won't get much worse.
16) Your investment in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off.
17) Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the national weather service.
18) Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either.
19) Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size.
20) You can't remember the email where you saw this list.

Hey Guy....I wondered where my daily journal went....it's been published here! Good Golly Miss Molly:headbang:,,,,Gary

For all of my Animal loving Friends!

Best Wishes,

Scott

L.o.l.. He built him a sleeper. It'll rock n roll.

The best "automobile" one can have!

I learned early that a ford tranny HAS to go on a ford engine.

Well.....
I prefer Chevys now.
Subject to change on how ole Betsy treats me.....

Fickle?
You Bet!
I only want what works with the least amount of problems and my ability to fix those problems.

Get the message, Detroit?

Best,

Scott

(Reminds me of that ole Ferguson tractor with a positive ground. Will try to find a photo...)

RC,
My Friend,
You ever know anyone from Kansas?
Born before there were 50 states?

You do now.....

Key phrase, "From."

It's really not that bad....It's my birth state.

-----
I left Kansas after High School Graduation into the Military.
Received a security clearance that I cannot state even today....
Missed Viet-Nam by one year.
Now- The "Cold War."

I've travelled around, worked a bit here and there, doing this and that....
some tales I can relate, most not.

But, When my Mom told me that she had the Cancer, I was there for her until she died.
I watched her gasp for her last breath.....
I was responsible for her tombstone, her casket, etc.

I left Kansas again for the last time when my Mother died and I haven't been back since.

Many memories of the past will surely guide a person's future....?

Whether or not that you achieve your goals is dependent upon your participation.

Mom Approves! :headbang:

Be more than your Parents dreamt of you.

Be a Friend to Humanity. And to all animals!

My Best,

Scott

I had a personal creed, while in the military,...

I shouldn't post due to graphic language and imagery....

So, I retreat to my mountains, looking for solace when and where I can....

I've a hot cup of campfire coffee waiting for you, my Friend....

Always my Love for Carol.....

She was the only one who knew of my past....
(seemingly always wanting to catch up.....)
"She put a donut in my tea...."
My hands upon her heart, yet,
I could not protect nor save her.....
I still cry when I think of Carol....
Ain't Death a biatch?
Lookin' for me?
Bring it!
I've nothing left to lose....

Hello, to ALL of you, wonderful people over here. Just seeing if you are awake? If not, you will be in a minute. I think it's time to dance!!!

So
How 'bout this diversion?

Me,
Scott

Mastiff4me,

Judging from your posts.....I'd say you're an empath.....here's a tune for you to cheer you up.

Fun diversion. :) Btw, Scott, I am so sorry for what difficult things you have had to face. Whoa. Really deep. May God bless you every single step of your journey ahead, may you never walk alone, and may the sun shine lightly upon your shoulders every day!!!

Good night all.

A man cries alone in the night....

Do you hear your Brother?

Want some?

(I surely hope not....But I hear you, my Brother. I am here. For YOU!)

By the way...dinner tonight is ramen.

Again.....

Gary, My Thanks! :notworthy:

May need some new recipes. Soon, Brother.....

-------------------

A sweet Gibson. "Butterscotch" or maybe a
Tiger Maple Body?

Well, having watched the vid several times, A "Butterscotch" is the ax of choice here....
I guess....:dontknow:

Then it's the "Butterscotch."
(I'd still argue for the Tiger Maple, solid body with dual Humbuckers.....)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humbucker
And give an hour's performance on stage. For Dinner......

I've "occasionally" played for my dinner.
Until you have been there, you have no idea....
You learn quickly about guitars and how they can either project your feelings so easily, or have tuning problems all night...

So,
EVERYBODY WINS!

My Best,
(During a study break)

Scott

Bill. Holy smokes. You have me pegged. On the empath part, and second, right before I saw this post, I was actually watching a very cool Playing For Change video. Right on! Thanks. That was nice.

Sometimes, the answer is...

Tomorrow is always another day.....
If you are there....

My Best,

Scott

Crispin,
I need a serious discussion with you, Friend.

And, for Jeff and my Friends, America is strong.
With Patriots keeping watch while you sleep, and I study,
You will always be safe.

Trust me.....

You're Welcome.

And I thought I was the only one up tonight. :laughing7:

During the day I close one eye........ That's how I get half my sleep....... Then later I close the other eye and get the rest of my sleep.....

Which reminds me what happens if you get scared half to death..............twice? G'night my friends.
