Well, as we have exhausted nearly every option we have right now, the best of a bad bunch came back up to the top.
I started where we had left off last time,(where the 2 hammered came out) & would you believe it, first run up pops a hammered. I had a hunch that I should backfill a lower section of the field, it was after Dads turnaround point. My hunch paid off quickly & after only 40 minutes I had all 3 hammereds. Within the hour the nice Medieval Buckle & then it went dead for the remainder of the 4.5 hour session. Sadly only a small hotspot, but I'll take it.

I wouldn't mind if you keep using the blue background to showcase your treasures!
Kinda tired of the pink one :laughing7:

Btw, Congrats!

Btw, Congrats!

It's SS that taught me that blue is best when taking photos of silver.

This year seems to be a good year for hammered silver! Three in one hunt is killer! :icon_thumleft:

Congratulations of the finds!

Like clockwork! They don't call you Crusader for nothing! So many medieval finds that it's astounding! I would love to see a pic of your entire collection one day :laughing7:

I am usually amazed at whatever Cru finds, he's gotta have a warehouse full by now

SWEET hammered silver! Congratulations!

It doesn't get any better than a trifecta of hammereds!! And early ones too.

Blue is cool! Three hammie day with a great looking buckle to boot, hell ya!

Cru,

Good score on the hammered silver.....

Regards + HH

Killer pennies Cru, way better than the ones I've got in my pocket! :laughing7: So are you going to anneal and straighten that Durham example? Not sure if it's your style to do so, but it would bug me until I did something about it. Thanks for sharing the sweet finds.

That's a great day out ! Seems like the year has started off well for "the Cru" The blue definitely shows the beauty of silver .

All Eddie 3 Cru ?. Could be same loss

Not sure if they are all Eddie 3, but that idea did cross my mind. I will look at Dads GPS plot when finished, but my gut says something different. Because they are well spread out & not in the ploughing line, & its the only spot so far that had a bit of lead & all the 14th C buckles. So if they were losing the buckles in this spot, something else must be at play, but its stumped me. (no buckles elsewhere & no coins)
Still need to expand the search though.

No, it will go in the collection as is. If a Pro crosses my path I may do a job lot, but I'm not posting them anywhere!

Your bad is 100 times better than my good! Lol! Great finds

Just another day in your life and times. :notworthy:
