I had work on today, so sent my senior scout out to find our next spot, until the Beans get planted.

After only 2.5 hours hunting 1 of our known good fields in an area of failed Oil-seed Rape he done pretty good. This year the bad crops have really opened up our options!

Congratulations to Cru-dad! It is amazing how location can give perspective to finds. You find so many "common" Roman coins over the course of the season. Such a long and diverse history there. Here in Michigan, anything from the mid 1800's is an excellent find. Most of the areas with any older history are protected or paved.
