Hi,

I stumbled upon something I believe to be a quartz crystal arrowhead. I also found a cluster of crystals not far from it. What do you think?

Thanks!
hello indians would try all sorts of ways to make tool's and arrowheads, urs is real rare if u live where there is no quarts, i live in east texas i have found some that was traded from arkansa.. what state did u find it in??

You must be from Virginia, East TN area ? That is a very nice looking quartz point. I have not seen a quartz point with the nice serrations before.

Thanks for your wealth of information. I've included another photo for a size comparison. I hope that its of use. I labeled the 'photo' small because I had several sizes of the image on my desktop and needed the correct one to upload. The arrowhead was found in upstate SC in an area that had been cleared for a pond. Several pieces of quartz crystal were found in the area. The larger cluster was also found nearby.
I think he stated it was from South Carolina

Would anyone have a rough idea of its value. I'm very curious. Thanks!

Priceless ;D

Nice find, I love arrowhead hunting. I hunted in Ga. at a friends farm. He had a ton of quartz and I found a few keepers at his farm. I have found some quartz points here in Ohio, but most of the one I have came from Ga.

I was in Virginia in November and relic hunted there and the fields were loaded with quartz. A few fellows found some nice points in that area.

I'm going to include a picture of some of my quarts finds from Ga. Not a very good picture, but still a lot of quartz.
