Well, after begging him for a while ( ) Burdie said I could be a johnny-come-lately and go to the soiree. Now I just need to get ahold of Bridge End Farm to arrange shared transportation......... I sent him a couple PMs, even offered to share driving in one of my "better gas mileage" vehicles (I'd love to bring my 4x4 PU but 12 mpg is ridiculous).
Apparently he hasn't been on here today or he's ducking me....... Is it because I'm a Midwestern transplant trying to infiltrate the SEC??
Anyway, I hope he lets me know what's what's up soon. I'm worried the motel rooms will be gone and I'll have to sleep in a cardboard box under an overpass............

BTW, those are fantastic prizes!!!! The organizer(s) and donors/donor arrangers rock!!

hi guys, remember maxmoney ? he appeared out of nowhere to donate coupla silver rounds to this hunt. seems he was nearby.so i pmed him and he was kind enuf to invite me over. we had a nice 2.5 hr hunt at his property.we didnt find a lot but we sure had fun.more details later.

Burdie, I don't care what you say, I'm not sitting in the mens room again this year while the raffles are being held! Especially if Stoney is in there ahead of me! I've alerted tkhe EPA to monitor the air quality in Caldwell this weekend. Also with all the hot air from this bunch they'll think it's global warming confirmed.

I have a 19' self-contained camping trailer and I am staying at a hotel. How silly does that sound? But, pulling that trailer, the gasoline would cost me more than two nights in a hotel! My Durango gets 19-21 mpg on the road. Pulling my 4-wheeler and small trailer I'll get about 14 mpg. Pulling that camper I get 10-11 mpg.! I have the 4-wheeler ready to roll with my large ice chest mounted on the back rack. It will haul about anything with enough bungi cords. I am ready! All I need to do is gas up and hit the road. Anyone know the long range weather forecast for Caldwell? Any Sooner fans going to be there? I'm bringing my portable radio, as it's OU vs Texas next weekend. This will be two years in a row I've missed the game because of the hunt. But you can see where my priorities are. I'm just thinking out loud, anxious to get going, so I'll shut up! M nty

Sorry Monty, it's a medical condition. Dr. said I need at least one pickled egg every day. Unless things change, gas should be below $3 by next weekend. It's at $3.02 tonight.
