I guess if people wanted to get together for a group get together/hunt again, we can.
I'm not really positive where we'd go, outside of the beach... I'm having a time right now just trying to get permission to detect in our stupid county parks. Uhg.
It'd be really cool if I could find someone with a boat to take a bunch of us from North Beach at Fort deSoto park over to Shell Key, where we could all camp out on the island... then detect again the next day on North Beach.
I don't know... I'm sure I could come up with a bunch of random ideas.
We'll see....

The wife and I will be there for certain. Sorry I havent had time to keep up with everyone else on this forum. Only 8 more years till retirement . Bran, The north beach at desoto is good for shells at the right tide, though I always seem to step on a stupid stingray or horseshoe crab every time I go there.

Also....I have a pesky possum who was in my flowerbeds last nite....and the dog barked all nite....this morning my flowers were flattened to the ground and that really makes me mad...how can I get rid of it...its as big as the dog...I tried to take the broom and shake it out of there...but it just bit the broom and hissed....where do they go during the day...it cant get under the porch .....is there something that I can spray to keep it out? Dont say shoot it...because that would mean I would have to remove it and ugh...and ick and then the blood...gag

Put some moth balls in the toe of a old sock, tie up tight then place around the bed. Some people just sprinkle the balls in the garden...I rather the sock, for safety precautions. Someone else had a problem with armadillos and she was recommended the fox urine pellets. She was told you could buy at the feed stores.

I think I heard what Judie said before an it also works on snakes an deer but with snakes not in sock I don't know ? When we had the coon family last spring we set trap caught the mama but tore the heck out of the cage!
