breakfast plans have changed folks....Red barn is not open until 11 for a mothers day buffet.....we are gathering all the pots and pans and camp groceries and the guys are cooking breakfast here at the kitchen. It sounds like quite a breakfast too!

We miss ya girl! Wish you were here. The hunt is shaping up to be a great one. We had a super time at dinner tonight and we are all ready to start the hunting tomorrow. I have taken a lot of pictures, but will have to wait till I get home to post. I didn't bring a USB cable to download them to my laptop. I have been hovering around all the action and probably have a few incriminating shots.

Aww... thanks, hon. Looking forward to seeing the pictures. I was gonna ask if someone didn't have one you could borrow for a few minutes, but on second thought, it'd take away from the huntin' time.

We posted stuff the first night of the hunt. I must say that without me and you there to insure that the Rowdy Bunch behave themselves they have certainly NOT lived up to the previous image they have put out........

I can say for sure, there are lots of folks traveling today, and the hold overs went back out to hunt another new spot this morning.

I expect most photos should show up this evening to tomorrow evening, since they didn't post any before heading out to the new site this morning.

I'm home!Not in jail Mighty!But only got back with one garter although one of the gals Propped her leg up and let me search for one.Finds?What finds?I have heard rumors of some V nickels,buffalo and a super barber quarter and some IH's and some mini's and some modern and broach and heck,I can't remember,don't really know if anyone bothered with pics or not.Missed you Nan,not one nose flute showed up!I couldn't detect much ,just couldn't pry my detector out of
Charlie's hands long enough to hunt any.I do know that there was a rumor that some stuff may have been found today.
You guys should have seen that 'shanty town'campsite! Cyndi's tent would go almost flat then pop up tall and she said it was the wind but I figure it was her snoring doing it.Weather was great and all I heard from RR,Nana, Cyndi and Gypsy was whining about the cool breeze.
It was really great to see everyone again.God I love 'em!
Only one member that I know of had to walk around town and visit every event until he could drive back without a DWI.He was smart enough to ask the local law if they gave dwi's in Caldwell and when he heard the 'yes' response,then he knew what he had to do.(name withheld at RR's request to prevent family squable with her A$$).There may be other tales but I don't snitch!
To those at the hunt who do not care for dogs,Dixie flips her tail.She was trying to be on her best behavor and for her first outing at seeing more than two people at a time and hardly ever a car,I think she did just fine.She did want to bring Dani and kaeli home with us and wanted to put Jacob's cap gun where it would do the most good!But she enjoyed herself for her first outing.Everyone knows she's shy now.Ask the campers about the night time trains.
Dixie and I do appreciate the way she was received and all the cool comments about her.She was truely embarrassed and now I can't do a thing with her.

First off I would like to thank Burdie and all the others for the amount effort it takes to put together and run a super hunt!

If I would not have come to this hunt I would not be able to claim a few new FIRSTs in my MDing life. The first one is being able to dig old bullets. I have no clue of how old they are or what era they are from so I will be posting pics here and in the appropriate sections to get those questions answered. When it comes to relic hunting, I am a total Noob.

Secondly, I dug my oldest coin and my first coin. Confused ? I dug my first Indian Head cent and its my oldest dated coin! Its also the first coin that I have broke into the 1800's with. The IHC is dated 1891! It is soaking in hydrogen peroxide right now and as soon as I get it clean up better I will post a pic with the bullets.

I had a blast this weekend meeting all of you and finally putting names and faces together! I wish I could have made it back there for the hunt today, but the wifey had made plans for the family today with her mom...

I am anxious to see what people post over the next couple of days!

What? It's Sunday evening ALREADY!?

Wow! What a great time! That Burdie and Vic know how to throw a party!!! I sure did miss my Ros and Noodle, tho. I'm sorry I haven't posted pics, but as you know already there's NO ATT signal there so no internet or phone calls for me while in town. And when we did manage to make it back to the hotel I was so tired I'd fall asleep before the pics could even get downloaded from the camera.
Got lot's 'a huggin' and kissin' in. Funny how fond I am of you all. It made me smile when I'd see one of my huntin' buddies that I haven't seen in so long.
Can ya'll believe my A$$ got caught with a detector in his hands!? I'm gonna have to frame that pic for sure! I hope he doesn't expect me to move all my good stuff to the basement to make room for all his junque. He says Hanna is going to make a fine president.
Love my WSDaddy! I miss you already. You still know how to spoil the girls and we LOVE it! That Dixie's a lucky gal.
