CTH3 OFFICIAL SITE FOR THE HUNT.

I wanted to put this in todays finds but my (nuts about digging up stuff) wife told me I should put it here! That is why it reads kinda funny!

While I didn't actually find this today I haven't been on here in a while & thought I would remind everyone of how I felt. I have found a treasure unlike anything you guys dig up every day. I (a non detectorist) have found some of the best friends in the world. I won't mention any names because I know that I would leave someone out but it started with the hunt in Otterville, Mo. then moved west to Caldwell, Ks. then we went south to Springfield, La. I don't stay in touch like I should but everyone I have met on these hunts have been priceless. As I sit here typing this out I am remembering things and people that I hadn't thought of in a while and I would just like to say thank you to all of you guys and gals that have made life just a little bit better for me (and I don't metal detect) and for my (nuts about digging up stuff) wife. I appreciate and will always treasure the friendships that I have made here at TreasureNet.

The Big Cedar Lodge would make a nice overnight stay also on your way to or from Caldwell. As I said just above Charlie's post, google it.

Charlie, check out my post under 'comedy,$5000 cat'.Don't know why it made me think of you.

so Charlie does that mean you're going to be headed west in May ?

You guys are great! Still snowing here and looking like a picture! And thanks for the Bday wishes; it was a truly good day. Dan had his last test this morning, an MRI to see what was up with his adrenal gland, and turns out the opinion was it was just a fatty thing; next check in 6 months!! Wow! Talk about a great birthday gift!! And I really appreciate all the other war stories, especially from Monty. I know he's a trooper and appreciate his input!

Schools in NE LA shut down (systems, college, universities, etc.), and State and half the businesses even before the snow started. Gonna be closed tomorrow too; already decided! I think they just wanted to give the kids and each other a reason to go throw snowballs!

Travel safely! Love you ALL!! - Noodle :-* :-*

Still Snowing...! I went outside a minute ago and the squirrels are complaining about this stuff on their trees. Its their first snow and they don't know what to make of it. Spring is just around the corner and we can dig in Kansas!!!!

It's snowing here as I type this. Coming down pretty heavy, thank goodness it's melting as soon as it hits the ground. Just saw the local weather, just up the road about 25 miles it looks like your picture. I want :icon_sunny:

 RR

It's not melting anymore. >:( I'm worried about the newborn calves, pray that they're all huddled together under the smaller pines in a dryer area. Everything is pure mud...been a very wet winter here. :(

The snow line was just a few miles south of my home here in Oklahoma. The southern part of the state and the Dallas FW area were getting the brunt of it. My daughter just north of Austin was having snow yesterday. The first time in something like 30 years! Of course the kids are out of school and are having a ball. Otherwise the town of Pflugerville, TX is shut down. They have very little in the way of equipment to clear the roads down there. I'm telling you it's that darn global warming. It's freezing us to death! And I always thought Louisianna was down south River Rat? I have given some thought to moving down near my daughter just because of the nice winter weather, but now I don't know? Strange goings on this year for sure! I sure hope CTH doesn't get snowed out in May! M :D nty

Oh, I forgot. Burdie and the Mrs. are coming down my way for the weekend. We plan to meet up at the River Wind Casino and have dinner and hit the slots a little. It's mine and Kay's Valentine outing and she loves to play the slots. Last time we came out about a hundred bucks ahead after paying for our dinner, but that's not a sure thing by any means. Wish us luck. None of us smoke, drink or chew tobacco so playing the "amusing games of chance " is our only vice.......well that I will own up to. Monty

See you soon Monty. You and I don't have any vices our wives do. He He. :dontknow:

Say here is some prizes for the hunt so far.

The way it is looking now we are going to be driving out and bringing a tent. Have not looked into where we will pitch the tent as of yet but it will be wherever Gypsy and the girls are! We gotta have CAPPUCINO!! LOL

And she is trying to talk me into tagging along...I reckon I could pack light and flap my arms to increase gas mileage!!!

You don't worry about the gas mileage bro! Just start praying you can put up with all of us! Gas mileage is not your concern....whether you can drink as much cappucino as us girls and put up with all the fits of hillarity might be a concern but I am sure Brian will be glad to lament those miseries with ya! :tongue3:
