hmmm what is going on tomorrow? lol when you work 24 hrs a day with weekends being part of that it doesn't dawn on you Saturday is special until someone else mentions it again.

DAN WENT TO A PRIVATE ROOM TODAY IN AN EXTENDED CARE FACILITY!!! IS THIS LOUD ENOUGH TO WAKE US UP? DOING FANTASTIC!!! I wouldn't even hand him his water; made him grasp it himself and shove it up to his mouth himself! MS. Physical Therapy!!! I'm a meany!!! He understood and just smiled and winked at me. He's lost 22 lbs.

Everyone keep Dan and Brenda ( Noodle ) in your prayers. He has several MONTHS of recovery until he even gets half way back to what he was. He'll be playing his fiddle long before he can walk to his mailbox. (for those of you who remember how far their front field is) He has lots of therapy to go thru to recover from being on a vent for 14 days. I had a vent for 8 days and it took me 7 months before I could return to work and I was very weak then ( and much younger ). This is normal and is one of the toughest things to recover from. You have NO muscles left and you have to start from scratch, learning to walk again, opening a coke ( or beer ) can, shaving etc. Dan will feel like he weighs about 700 lbs for several months as his muscles start to return back to their old selves. BUT on the other hand, he is alive and WILL recover, but slowly. Brenda has a ton of responsibility in front of her helping Dan improve. It'll probably be a while before he can take care of himself around the house while she's at work. And remember, he's recovering from surgery too. It's a double whammy! So please keep them in your prayers and know they have a long and tough road ahead. Neither Dan nor Brenda are quitters and a good attitude will make a big difference in recovery. So once again, your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated!!

I second that,Steve.Dan is lucky to have Noodle there.I know when I had my surgery and the doctor told me not to lift anything heavy,I had a heck of a time finding a gal to help me take a whiz.

Seriously they have my prayers for quick recovery and strength! They both know we all love them an wish we were closer to help!

I know someone who's up for a branding! One of the six pack thats meaner that a sack of snakes if he has to be!! Been pumping iron so he can hunt 18 hours a day. It's our own Baggins!!!!! Cowboy up Sean!!!
