ctx3030 shaft locked

couldn't get the shaft off, thought i was going to break it. since I created this thread, I got it off.

can't delete this thread or i would

Mine did the same thing and it was pretty clean and I only hunted fresh water at the time.
I am thinking a very small grain of sand or small stone got in the shaft and I really had to yank on it to get it to move.

Glad you got it. It is a VERY close tolerance fit. Any piece of sand or anything will cause it to stick. Once you use it a bit you will see how easy it is to use.

Give the lower shaft a regular wipe of ArmorAll auto polish, it will help to keep your shafts moving freely.
