Met up with Joepher yesterday and we made our way to an Old Grove area located in a city park. There was about 11 acres of land to hunt so plenty of places to wander. Each old tree looked as if it were begging to be hunted next. While Joe made off with a fistful of old coins, my oldest turned out to be a 1964 Canadian cent. I'm getting closer! I found this Cub Scout ring on the edge of the ball field; in the last hole I dug cause the just as the sun went down. It stamped Sterling and has the #5 marked on it as well. The photos due it no justice. There is a wolf face followed by the words CUBS BSA with a very small rising sun under the words. Overall --a good outing. I can’t wait to excavate more of the area. Take Care, J
