Culling Canada Coins?

Been finding alot of Canadian coins, should I be taking these out?

#1 canadian coinage since 2000 is magnetic --the pre 2000 good metal containing coins are beiing removed from circulation by the canadian govt and being replaced with crappy steel cored copper & nickle coated coins *

#2 even so canadain coins & money is now better in value than american money is "exchange rate wize" 1 US dollar will get you less than 1 dollar candain --thus the canadain dollar is stronger than the american one .

#3 -- I used to get a decent steady amount of canadain coins for "free" at several local stores that had "coin star" or other coin counting machines -- I asked the stores "machine cleaners" to save the the foreign coins that got stuck on the machines""magnets" for me (told em I collected foreign coins which is true--also always when you go by one in passing check their coin reject slots as those coin counters "reject" silver coinage" ) ---the store personel have to clean the magnets every so often or the canadain and other foreign "junk coins" (as they call em) and iron based debris that stick to the magnet will plug the coin feed tube to the counters --the magneets are there to stop iron based debris and steel based foreign coins *---thus I got "free canadian money" on a steady basis --read what I did with my "free money" below .

#4 what to do with your "free canadain money" *

there are canadain coin companys online that do bussiness with americans by mail -- save up enough canadian coinage say $100 bucks worth or so and then "mail" it to canada to them to buy american silver coins with that they have in stock in exchange (pay the return postage in canadain coinage as well along with what you buy) --that way the only real "out of pocket" cost is american postage for a flat rate box * --once you get your "free silver" coins sell a couple of them to recover your start up mailing cost of your first "shipment"and also to get your "next shipments shipping cost" covered -- you are now operating "totally" free cost wize *** ) $0 out of pocket cost -- 100% per profiet * my kinda bussiness.

#5 if one really thinks "outside the box" --- after the first shipment gets your next shipments "shipping cost" covered there are other canadian companys that do bussiness online as well as well not just "coin dealers"-- heck you could buy all sorts stuff with this "free money"--thinking that way theres no limit to what you can get for "free" this way

Where do you find the Canadian places that will give you silver coins for their money. If you have a address that will do this please post it for us.....Matt

There's still many more coins to be picked out in Canada, since I once found a 1980 Canadian Nickel which is 99.9% Nickel in one of my rolls. And Utah isn't exactly right next to Canada.

it was a canadian coin store that also deals in american coins as well * found them online . --they have a washington state us mail address * but one must still fill out a canadian customs form that says --so much in canadain coins . since they take them into canada to do bussiness,

I used J & M coin and jewellery Ltd. * IN CANADA when I did it. --- return postage to the USA was $15 canadain for my order. (which I included along wih my order")--- doing this I used my "free canadain money " to get several american silver coins - A COUPLE OF WHICH I SOLD AT MY LOCAL COIN STORE TO RECOVER MY AMERICAN POST OFFICE "OUT OF POCKET" UPBOUND TO CANADA SHIPPING COST. ---due to weight issues , I used a flat rate box.

the remainer of the silver coins I kept --nothing like "free silver" coins.

say you send them $95 "free" canadain dollars up for (5) 1964 AU grade kennedy halfs ( currently listed at $16 canadin each x 5 =$ 80 canadain) plus return to USA shipping of $15 canadian

those (5) 90% silver 1964 US halves would be worth about $86 bucks american in silver -(coinflation.com say $17.20 eah )--- ( sell one of them at a local coin store to recover your -out of pocket cost of mailing it to their washington state address via a flat rate box 0-- thus it now cost you "nothing" to do it and that sill leaves you with 4 "free" 90% halfs to the "good" at current silver value of $17.20 each .

the prices do change --so see what the current rates are and whats in stock at their site online and what you might want ****they do have a fair bit of differant kinds and grades of american coins -- most american folks will just give you "those worthless candain coins" --oh yah baby free money --gotta love it.

I find it funny that people just give you Canadian coins. In Michigan, Canadian small denomination coins circulate freely and everyone accepts them on par with US coinage. The only difference is that you cannot put them in vending machines. I even got a Canadian nickel in change from my bank.

quite understandible that Michigan folks veiw canadain coins as "real money" --since your a "borderline" state with canada and can easily go and spend it and its quite commonly used in the area --esp since canadian money is actually currently worth more that US money is *---however you must remember this I live in florida * (so big differance amigo ) where its way way too far to go to canada to redeem any canadin change they get --so they see canadain change as a form of "play money" not really worth anything --it is just (since 2000) steel based "play money coins" that clog up their coins counters "feed tubes' for what they think of it -- me I'm a bit "ahead of the curve' thinking wize , I see ways to make money (legally I might add --that others often miss out on ) -- been a lil hustler since I was a kid.

with canadian coins being thought of as "real money " in your area -- I doubt my lil trick would would for you sadly.
