Curious about what gps methods you use for mining

I like to mark my spots while prospecting or hiking to later cross refrence with google earth. I was just curious what everybody else does with their gps to help in prospecting.

Pretty much the same. I carry a laptop with TOPO! and Hystware and a few other tools on it. I can transfer wpts directly with info while out. Like to get info filed before I forget or my caffeine gauge is gettin towards empty, seemed that I'd get home & forget what some of the wpts were. The other thing is for me it's easier to transfer stuff I see in the area I'm going to from Google earth to the laptop.
