Cut Coin at New Field...Need Help Id'n...
Started on the new location today...Brrrrrrrrrr it was cold! Never got out of the 20's while I was there... :P
But...I found my second cut coin to date
and need help with the ID!!
I can make out " T O " on one side and "R A S U" on the other...thought I had a piece of 8 for a second, but it's either copper or bronze...and has a 'Hammered' look to it
Also found a flat button and buckle, and all these items were shallow (4" and under)..then a deep hit at about 8" which yielded a '67 Quarter and '64 Penny....gotta love the plowed fields...you just never know how deep or how old the next target will be!
Any help on the coin will be DEEPLY appreciated!!
