OK, A-1. I remembered a company, GemSelect, in Thailand. I have not ordered from them, but they have a terrific website for ordering stones. Their prices seem reasonable. Take a look.

Thanks for the link. It looks like 50 bucks here and there could buy me some fun stuff. Just what I wanted.

Whoo boy! I haven't priced emeralds lately. Through the roof. I put together a ring for my wife about twenty years ago. A little 7x5 mm emerald. Nice strong color, and pretty good clarity. Think I paid around a hundred dollars for the stone. Call me cheap.
