Cutting down the volume

This week was the first week I actually decided to make a major cut in the volume I was doing. I went from doing 10 boxes halves and 8 boxes of dimes down to 4 halves and 6 dimes. It was just getting to the point where I was upsetting the manager of my main dump bank and taking way too much time out of my life. My area has plenty of banks but not enough places with coin counters so I have to drive 15-20 minutes every time I want to dump coins. It's not bad for awhile but I started doing it 2-3 times a week and it was just eating too much time and I was loathing the constant lugging of coin bags to my car. Cutting back on volume just seems like a surefire way to make sure the other hunters get all the silver though right?

The funny thing was I had an excellent week with halves and dimes. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced the need to cut down on volume for whatever reason. Do you still find enough to keep you going? My inclination is to turn over my bankroll as many times as possible but I have to remind myself it's a hobby not a job.

You are right. I've cut way back. It gets rediculous when the finds are down, takes up too much time, and gas $. It's always just been a hobby for me, anyway.

Everyone has to find the particular amount of volume that works best for them. The more you search, the more you find. However, it can easily turn into a "job" and suck all of the fun right out of it.

And after the silver runs dry....its on to COPPER PENNIES for everyone!!! Then you will say, I remember when I first started these were worth 2x FV, now they are 10X FV. Booyah!

Youre right man......There will ALWAYS be silver in circulation SOMEWHERE due to Grandpa. The problem will be the masses CRHing due to the increased price causing banks to SHUT US DOWN via the "F" word, left and right. Look at Storage Wars or whatever, caused a BOOM in that industry!

You think when silver hits $50+ OZ, people arent going to loose their minds with that too? Common sense, its different from years back when silver price was nothing.
