Went back to 1 of my favorite spots today and found some pretty neat bullets etc, the coolest being a carved Gardner and another odd Gardner that looks like it was rammed really hard or something.

Thanks for looking!
HH

Nice finds. I have been told that the rammed bullet could have been the result of being rammed or having a second bullet forced down on top of it. I reckon, in the heat of battle, anything is possible.

You know I never thought of that, having another bullet on top of it... That is exactly what it looks like happened to it! Thanks

Nice job Mark. I recently found one very similar to the "rammed" one you have here.

Thanks Richard! I bet those bullets were the result of a double loaded musket like fyrffytr1 mentioned.

I don't see many fired bullets. Are you in a campsite?
Great haul.

No, these are from a battle area it's hard to see from the picture but a couple more are fired than dropped.

I couldn't tell I guess , most of them look like they're in great shape.
My battle site is about 50 % fired , with big impacts.

Nice lead. I as well have one of the double loads. That's what it looks like to me it kissed the back on the way out. If not I don't know what it could be. Nice hunt love the lead. HH
