day 2 of the 1720 project--fine & DANDY, the key to time & button up for rain??
the rain never showed so buckled up to diggin' holes over a foot down. a super nice brass clock key 2 1/2" X 1 3/8" shrouded by square nails at 13" down, 1920 wheatie, Imperial Standard flat button, and an amazing 12 point flower design button 1" diameter with what looks like nickel plate over brass. it is a spun button and was hiding under iron at a foot down. basic iron horse tack buckle and a 9" honker of iron--maybe from an antique stove
. nearly every hole had broken pottery shards, all were differing colors, thicknesses and clay types. this site has been scoured in the past---

still looking for REAL coins
see my post on the "whizzer" LC to read the story after my research
pretty cool resolution to this strange item

back again tomorrow
