Day 32 - Big Grass Field.......

Spent 2.5 hours (5 man hours) on the grass field & covered over 1 acre as there is so few targets including iron. After only a Shell petrol cap each we decided to go to another field. See next reply;

Part 2 - button field

The is only other field we can do at the moment is the 'button' field. Its considered one of our worst fields however we can't do much worse than 2 shell caps. The field lived up to its name with my second dig being a pewter 1780s Hussars button. Not great shape but an early variant I need

Found a Mug.
18th century clog clasp
2 19th century coins
and bits...

Did 4 hours (8 man hours) (days total of 13 man hours). Hard day.
