Got out with Tony for the afternoon to a new site to do some scouting. I think we're on the edge of something but couldn't pinpoint the site. The near heart attack came when I dug the "gold coin" ...it was all older relics so when I saw the gold in the plug I thought for sure it was a gold coin...its actually a 2005 10 Euro Cent...no clue why it was there and 3 inches down!

Find of the day for me is a more than decent Victorian Canada Militia button. I've got a few of these but this one is in the best condition. Thanks for looking!

Nothing like having a nitro-moment while out digging. Nice assortment still, I would be that's for sure. Best of luck hitting the one you were scouting out.

Congrats on the hunt...the button is super cool..It's in excellent shape..

Nice historical Canadian button.
Congrats

I've had the same experience with one of those Euro's in a ploughed field that I mostly get a mix of every period. (other than modern!)
