Deep find at WW2 Air Base

I spent almost a half hour digging a strong signal about 12 inches but it turned out to be this sign at 18 inches. I also found the Iron on the left and whatever that thing is on the right.....aa

The Irom is cool.
I dug for almost an hour one time for a burn barrel.
