Nothing anyone can do.
What I was surprised by, is what the doctor said.
That many people choose to NOT do the chemo.
It makes me not feel so selfish.

You know I have really enjoyed burying caches !! Almost get a since of satisfaction equal to finding a great find. I never thought that I would get so much satisfaction from burying caches. It will definitely keep your mind occupied.....I have to keep a list in my safe with all the locations on it now.

How can I rust proof the mason lids in the event that the jars aren't found right away ?

Paraffin wax melted in a crock pot. Once the lid is on dip it in the liquid wax a couple times. Let it dry and bury it.

One thing I am glad about, is how tricky I plan on burying them.
There will be a fun assortment of iron targets above the caches!
Finding places that are still completely open to us metal detectorists is challenging!

My friend would swallow the oil to get it into the lower GI....it bought him a couple more years for his son and when he left us he had a big ole smile on his face....you have to hang in there as long as you can for the viking !!

I like to put something personal in with mine....I almost always leave a bar of copper smelted from my scrap with the cash. A 3 ounce bar or cross goes in every time.

I thought about tin cans..blah! Rust heaven!
I've saved every coin from 39 years of detecting.
Here is the first load going into a jar.

You know you've found a black bart cache if theres a copper bar or cross with it !!

You could put the jar inside the tin for added protection!! Copper pipes with soldered end caps works very well also !!

Theres a thread where a ring finder got called out to hunt for a silver cache. He found it sealed in a soldered copper pipe.....coins were in great condition !! Plus ya get to play with a torch....that's always fun !!

My private pgp keys and my crypto-currency credentials.

I don't worry about my Viking. Her mom has 90 million in the bank and is 77 years old.
At least she won't have to worry after..I hope.

I was prior to 2008 and the wreck Obummer helped cause.
When everything you own overnight becomes basically underwater..bah!
My brother got it worse than I.
He had hundreds of rental properties that he just walked away from.
If my mother-in-law knew how bad things are, she'd feed me to the sharks heh
