Denver / Parker, Colorado --- Last couple of days, not so good weather wise :(

A couple of days ago, a tornado hit the Southland Mall in Denver, Co. Some folks were injured, but no one killed. Thank God! My sister was going to that mall, but her son called and he convinced her to go to the mall by his house, so off she went!

Well, today, while leaving the dentist office, her and her youngest boy were driving and a funnel cloud was right over them. This funnel cloud NEVER touched ground! She said she was never so scared. The sky was an eerie dark!

Speaking with her on her ride home, she could not believe all the hail on the ground, she said it looked like snow....

Everyone be as safe as you can. Even us on the East Coast have had our share of very bad thunderstorms and then hearing what happened in Dallas / Ft Worth yesterday with the storms and all the flooding. My sister's husband is from Dallas, but said his family are ok!

That is one BIG hail storm! I've seen larger hail, but never seen it cover the ground like that before! I'll bet the roofers are out in force about now.

For the most part we could have had it a lot worse in DFW last night. Lots of tree damage and some roof damage, but I haven't heard about too much major. We definitely don't need any rain for a weeks or so.
